Tribratanews.kaltim.polri.go.id, Balikpapan – In the midst of a drizzling rain, the Public Relations Task Force of East Kalimantan Regional Police (Polda Kaltim), part of the Lilin Mahakam 2023 operation, conducted a Live Report on Tuesday (26/12/2023) to monitor the smooth flow of traffic and ensure a conducive situation during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
The traffic monitoring activities took place at the intersection of Gunung Malang Road and Jenderal Sudirman Street in Balikpapan. The Public Relations Task Force team from Polda Kaltim monitored the flow and density of vehicles, ensuring safety and order on Jenderal Sudirman Street in Balikpapan.
The observations clearly showed that the traffic at the Gunung Malang intersection and Jenderal Sudirman Street in Balikpapan was flowing smoothly. Although there was an increase in vehicle density, the traffic flow remained smooth, thanks to the efforts of the combined personnel from the Traffic Directorate of East Kalimantan Regional Police and the Traffic Unit of Balikpapan City Police.
Director of Public Relations of East Kalimantan Regional Police, Commissioner Police Yusuf Sutjeo, S.I.K., M.T., stated that the monitoring conducted is part of the commitment of East Kalimantan Regional Police to provide service and protection to the public during this holiday season.
